Heat pump service plan questions

What does a heat pump service plan include?

Every plan includes a yearly service of your heat pump, a safety, efficiency and system check covering your radiators, underfloor heating and controls, and a PDF report for your warranty records. Plans also give you prioritised attendance and engineer-led advice if your system breaks down. Choose a plan above to see everything it includes.

Which plan do I need?

Choose the Heat Pump & Cylinder Plan if you have a heat pump and hot water cylinder, and the Hybrid System Plan if you have a heat pump, boiler and cylinder. Choose Premium Protect if your heat pump and cylinder are under 10 years old and you want parts and labour cover as well. If your heat pump has no cylinder, get in touch and we'll advise.

Do the plans cover repairs?

Premium Protect covers parts and labour on qualifying components for systems under 10 years old, with up to 3 emergency breakdown visits a year. The Heat Pump & Cylinder and Hybrid System plans cover the service, not repairs, but you get prioritised attendance and 10% off parts and labour.

Will a service plan keep my heat pump warranty valid?

Most manufacturers need a yearly service by a qualified engineer to keep the warranty valid. After every service we send you a PDF report recording the checks we carried out, as proof of servicing. Check your warranty paperwork for your manufacturer's exact terms.

Can I pay yearly instead of monthly?

Yes. Use the Monthly and Annual switch above the plans to see the yearly price, and choose it when you sign up. Either way you pay by Direct Debit.

How long is the contract?

Our plans run on a 12-month rolling contract. Cancellation details are in the service plan terms and conditions, which you can read on each plan's page before you sign up.

When will my first service be?

You tell us the month your next service is due when you sign up, and we contact you to book a visit that suits you. If you pay monthly, a one-off first payment covers the rest of your first year, so the plan is paid in full before your service is due.

Do the plans cover commercial or ground source heat pumps?

No. The plans are for homes with air source heat pumps. For a business, a ground source system or several systems on one site, get in touch and we'll quote for maintenance.
